Getting around
Salento is tiny and entirely walkable. Willy jeeps to the Cocora Valley leave from the main square every 20 minutes. Buses to Armenia (1 hour) and Pereira connect to the rest of Colombia. From Armenia, flights to Bogotá and Medellín run daily. Taxis and moto-taxis are available for local trips. The Armenia airport (El Edén) is the closest, about 45 minutes away.
