Getting around

Taxis are inexpensive, but use the Pink, CarGo, or Yandex apps to avoid overcharging. The river clubs are a short taxi ride from the centre.
Safety
Belgrade is safe and welcoming, with low violent crime. Take normal nightlife precautions, watch belongings in crowds, and use app-based taxis. Football-match days can bring rowdy crowds, best avoided. Smoking is common indoors. The city is very affordable, but agree taxi fares or use apps to avoid the occasional scam.
