Base: Pejton, The leafy café-and-bar quarter where Pristina's students and creatives gather.
Morning: Wander the lively centre. Stroll Mother Teresa Boulevard, see the quirky NEWBORN monument, the striking (and divisive) National Library, and soak up one of Europe's youngest, most energetic capitals over great cheap coffee.
Afternoon: Explore Pejton, The leafy café-and-bar quarter where Pristina's students and creatives gather.
Evening: Day trip to Prizren. Kosovo's prettiest town is a couple of hours away, an Ottoman old town with a hilltop fortress, mosques, a stone bridge and a relaxed riverside vibe.
Eat: Burek, flaky pastry filled with meat or cheese
Day 4, Day trip or nature
Base: Velania, The hillside residential district with guesthouses and views over the city.
Morning: The Bill Clinton statue and boulevard, an only-in-Kosovo photo stop.. A local favourite most visitors miss, worth the detour.

Getting around
Central Pristina is small and easily walkable, with everything around Mother Teresa Boulevard within ten minutes. Taxis are cheap and metered; ride apps work too. For day trips to Prizren, Gračanica and the monasteries, frequent buses run from the main station, or hire a driver for a flexible day.
Safety
Pristina is very safe with low crime and exceptionally welcoming locals. It's one of Europe's most relaxed capitals for visitors. Note that entering Serbia overland after flying into Kosovo can cause border issues, so check routing. Standard precautions apply at night.
